BUILDING A PERSONAL BRAND

  • Learn how Aaron used his book Brand Dominance to land a more than $50k consulting engagements
  • Three qualifiers to know your personal brand: (1) Do you have a talent or passion that you believe you can turn into a business? If you do, then you are qualified to have a personal brand. (2) Are you willing to take risks? Because building a personal brand it is not going to be easy. (3) You have to committed to your success.
  • Building a personal brand is a lifelong thing. People within the organization what makes a difference.
  • Every single time you create a new artifact you create something new, you are leveling up.
  • In a book, you can tell a story or experience and by the time they read the book if you done it properly, they’ll feel they know who you are.

CREATING A LAUNCH TEAM FOR ANYTHING YOU ARE INTERESTED IN AND LAUNCHING

  • Any new products that you release you should consider having a launch team.
  • As you continue to launch new products and your website goes live like there are people sharing your links you should strategically make sure there are handful of dominos that falls as soon as that site goes live.
  • If you want to know how to build a launch team it is by signing up for somebody else’s launch team, saved other email sequences and dissect what’s working well.
  • Just keep them engage like ask what they’re opinion to whatever body of work you release so they would feel that they contributed something.
  • If they feel like they are part of that process they became true brain ambassadors and out there advocating your products not only they would buy it but they will share it to other people.
  • My goals are not just people like and trust me, but I want people to know like-trust and refer me.
  • Brand dominance is not about money; it is about affinity around people that engage in your brand.
  • When you approach people being on a launch team there’s gonna be that initial ask.
  • You should constantly create artifacts and be able to repurpose them and leverage them as needed.
  • Activities that Aaron focused on as a business owner: (1) focus on building
    your own brand brand which consist of creating content, creating artifacts,
    getting on these many distributions as possible and getting attention from
    these people in any different platform. (2) Quality control, everything that
    comes out of your agency should be the best. (3) Focus on revenue generating
    activities.

MINDSET

  • Come into each day with the right mindset.
  • Just remember if you are having a bad day look at the activities that you are doing and think about the mindset that’s creating for you because a lot of it comes from the environment and the activities you are working in.
  • If you are in the bad mood do that thing that helps you back on the right mindset because every single person in your life can feel and they pick up those vibrations.
