About Kevin Donlin

Kevin Donlin has been involved in marketing since 1994, when he sold one of the first ebooks online, payable by check and you had to mail it to a post office box. That was e-commerce in 1994! From 1995 to 1998, he was Webmaster for FedEx.com, where he worked with the pioneers of online marketing. Since 1998, he’s been a copywriter and marketing advisor for clients big and small, delivering sales gains of more than $1 million on multiple occasions with web pages, email promotions, sales letters, and print ads. He’s been interviewed by ABC-TV in Detroit, Fox and NBC News in Minneapolis, CBS Radio in Los Angeles and New York, The Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Fortune magazine, Entrepreneur magazine, and too many others to list here. He’s the author or co-author of 5 books, including the new book, “Marketing Multipliers.”

  • Everyone is sending emails, text or something digital but if you give something tangible you can completely change the game that doesn’t cost a fortune at all.
  • The little bit of extra effort that it takes will go a long way because it is a great way to stand out for sure.

  • Go find 3-5 books on your topic and do these 3 things: first look at the reviews.
  • The 3’s and 4’s stars’ book reviews are typically from people who like the book or not. Copy their comments and see what people are saying, this is your market talking.
  • For the good reviews, organize them into big ideas while for the negative reviews think of those as objections.
  • The second way is to open up the book, search inside the table of contents and see how the books are organized specially the best-sellers. You’ll see what’s really important to this topic.
  • The third way is to look at the back cover of the book. You’ll have ideas from it and you’ll see what’s important to that topic.
