KNOWING “NO” – WHY “NO” IS THE MOST IMPORTANT WORD; HOW “NO” CREATES A SEPARATE SELF

  • Some mothers when the child become resistant or negative they say “No”, the mother gets frustrated while in fact, the child is doing the most important thing that can happen to them.
  • Mothers have to embrace when the child says “No”.
  • The mother and child have a symbiotic relationship, the child needs the mother and the mother need her too.
  • ”No” is the first step to separation in order for the child to grow.

SEPARATION BETWEEN MOTHER AND CHILD IS A LIFE-LONG ENDEAVOR, FRAUGHT WITH PAIN, DIFFICULTY, AND CONFLICT (AS WELL AS GLORIOUS JOY). IT MUST BE DONE CAREFULLY AND DELIBERATELY IN ORDER FOR BOTH MOTHER AND CHILD TO THRIVE, BOTH TOGETHER AS WELL AS INDIVIDUALLY.

  • It’s a real trauma to be separated with the mother at a young age.
  • Every mother has to know her child and she has to know what stage does her child can comfortably tolerate.

LANGUAGE IS THE BIGGEST SUPERPOWER WE HUMANS HAVE.

  • Language is what helps us to connect with each other and can also separate us from one another.
  • It is also the most amazing healing form that exists.
  • The most important thing about relationships is to be interested with each other.
  • It is important to know what you feel and what you think is to be interested in yourself and to others.
  • The cure comes from the word curiosity. If we are curious about ourselves then curiosity is curative.
  • Anxiety is not a feeling state, it is actually a defense against the feeling. You have to figure out what you are anxious about.
