It’s no secret that we live in a world where personal brands are all the rage. But what is it about these personal brands and communities that make them so important?

Well, for starters, they help to create a feeling of exclusivity among their members. They also provide an opportunity for individuals to become invested in themselves or others beyond what the brand might be selling at any given time.

For example, let’s take a look at some of the best-known community builders out there: Apple, Starbucks and Harley Davidson. These companies have been putting community building to work for years now – and it shows!

What’s the next big social media app. Peter has made a bold statement that it’s not an app at all…The merge of video content and community is the next big app.

Apple is a company that understands personal brands and communities all too well. In fact, they even created their own! The Apple store has been around for decades now and it’s always been more than just about the devices (although those are pretty important!). It’s also an experience in how to be a part of something bigger.

Being a part of something bigger than us allows us to see the bigger picture – and this is a big part of what Apple has tapped into.

It’s not just about being an individual anymore, it’s about how we can connect all around us in ways that are personal and meaningful. This same philosophy also infuses their customer service teams, with representatives who strive for empathy.

While we can individually make an impact, we can make a greater impact together as a community.
