3 big ideas discussed in this episode:
- When you’ve reached a point in your career where you say enough is enough and need a change — how do you do it? How do you know where to make change in order to create more time, more space, more satisfaction?
- Knowing when you’ve done enough and feel like you’re enough. Root your focus in what you have control over: What am I committing to? saying yes and saying no. Keep track of this – lists of what’s on plate and who it is for, and what can be delegated. Did I do what I said I’m going to do? This is the measure of success and enoughness.
- Are you stopping to acknowledge and celebrate the little wins instead of stacking up the pitfalls, downfalls and losses. This is key to creating satisfaction. Celebrate what you did do and also appreciate the things you decided not to do. Consciousness/intention helps eliminate shame and guilt. A little bit of forethought and planning makes big shifts in outcomes and how we feel about it.
