One of the best ways to start building your email list is by offering a free ebook…but most people get stuck on what they would write, and they worry if anyone would even read it.  In this article, you’ll discover how to test your ebook ideas and some tools and resources to use the ebook to build a subscriber list and increase your profits.

Maybe you’ve got an ebook in mind you’d like to create

However creating an ebook can be a big task…

What would you write?

Would people read it?

That’s where a strategy comes in to play

Here’s a few ideas you can use:

First, one method is to start with writing article on your blog that help to solve a problem your target audience may be dealing with

First, identify the problem your target audience deals with…then write an article to give some solutions to that problem.  When you write on your own blog, or submit articles to another website it’s referred to content marketing or article marketing.

Here’s some insights on content marketing you may find helpful:

If you are working to become a successful online entrepreneur then you have probably already tried to increase traffic and generate sales through search engine positioning and pay per click advertising.  Pay Per Click or PPC, can be very expensive…and content creation may be slightly slower, but when done effectively can be a great way to get free traffic.

Below you will find the 6 primary ways you can use content marketing to test your ideas and get some traction.

1. It is your best way to get known as an “expert” in your field.

Why should someone buy from you and not from one of the thousands of your competitors that are also online?

2. Informative articles build trust in your ability to provide a good product or service.

If you are selling online your most important asset is to be seen as knowledgeable and trustworthy.

3. Your articles help to “pre-sell” your products and services.

It is the quality of website traffic that counts, not necessarily the quantity. The best kind of traffic you can get is from people who have read one of your articles, and have liked what they have read.

4. Article writing is a great way to generate content for your ezines and your own website.

Although you can look at article marketing as an outreach activity designed primarily for publication elsewhere, you can also use these articles in your own newsletters and on your own website.

5. Articles published on other sites help to build one-way links to your website.

Link building is one of the keys to making a website successful, but, as with traffic, it is the quality of the links that matter, rather than the shear number. Each time one of your articles is placed on another website, you will get a link back to your site.

6. You can generate a lot of money from articles that are published elsewhere.

People are online searching for information, articles are a great feeder to your website.

One suggestion I would give you in relation to creating your Super List is that you can start with article marketing to see what sort of content gets likes, comments and shares…this means this is a topic that people care about, and would like to share with others.
Next, you can create a strategic outline for your ebook based on what you learned from putting out articles online, after you’ve published your ebook as a way to profit on your website you’ll be building a Super List, which is a powerful method to profit from your website with a relatively small list.
